Safari Overview
This is a wonderful tour that surpasses all tours in East Africa. This tour comprises all activities that will let a client feel the real holiday and relax to make their minds and souls fresh. Amongst others, you will have game viewing in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti National Park. This tour makes a complete East Africa holiday and leaves a client with a full detailed knowledge and experience of Tanzania tours.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you’ll get in a 4×4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle ready for a safari to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park has the highest population density of elephants in Tanzania. Tarangire comprises herds of up to 300 elephants that scratch the dry river bed for underground streams. There are also migratory wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and elands. It’s the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. It’s a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. After a whole day game drive, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro oldeani mountain lodge in the evening for dinner, a warm shower, and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
You have a long day ahead full of chances and new animals to be spotted as you are headed to the Ngorongoro Crater! A visit to this breathtaking Natural Wonder of the World is an absolute must on any northern circuit safari itinerary. The Ngorongoro Crater is around 3 million years old and it is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled caldera. Inside the 20 square kilometer volcano is a variety of wildlife which includes the rare and endangered black rhino. Lions, elephants, zebras, hyenas, and many others keep him company. Your safari continues towards Tanzania’s oldest and most popular park, Serengeti, which is always filled with adventure and discoveries. Late in the afternoon, you will arrive at Ngorongoro Lions Paw for your overnight rest.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Nothing beats waking up from a restful sleep to the sounds of the Ngorongoro. Once you have enjoyed your breakfast, we will depart from the Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park as it is a wonderful time to spot the game the acacia-studded savannah welcomes you to start exploring its wildlife. It’s another day filled with safari adventure on African soil and by the end of this day you’ll probably understand the meaning of the name ‘Serengeti’ to be ‘endless plains’. Late in the afternoon, you will go to Kubu Kubu Tented Lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Arusha by Plane
After a good night’s sleep, this morning it’s departure time. After a last game drive, your vehicle will be taking you to the Seronera Airstrip for your flight back to Arusha Airport. After boarding the aircraft, your trip nears the end, but you can still peer out over the wings of the plane and enjoy the magnificent views while flying over Serengeti National Park. Admire the changing scenery of the Great Rift Valley. You will land at Arusha Airport with a camera full of pictures to share with friends and family and look back on the amazing memories created by your African endeavor!
